mothers of twins clubs
i am very interested in joining one of these groups. i live in queens right now, but grew up on long island and hope to return there someday. i'm debating which mothers group i should join. it's no big deal for me to go to hicksville or flushing, so distance isn't really a factor.
anyone have opinions on both clubs? is one better than the other? i.e. more organized, better speakers, better events, etc.

Myself and a few other girls from this board were at the Nov. Hicksville twin mommies meeting.
JMO, but I think they are SUPER organized considering they are all mothers of twins as well.
They have great resources and seem to have a resident expert for every topic imaginable.
They have a great newsletter and it even includes a column where members buy, sell, trade used items like double carriages or recommend their nanny etc.
I'm looking forward to the January meeting.

I can't speak for the Flushing one but I belong to the Nassau one and agree with everything Theresa said. Let us know if you plan on going in January - we'll meet up with you beforehand.
