Morphology??
We just got DH's s/a back and he has only 5% normal morphology. He count is normal at 120 million. They also detected some white blood cells in it so they are thinking he has an infection. He has an appointment with a urologist on Monday, but I was looking for any words of wisdom. We are both pretty crushed right now and I have no idea where to go from here

 thats its an infection...but if not, MF is the easiset to remedy with IVF

my dh has a problem with this as well. his past two SA's were a count of 81 million/8% morphology, and 116 million/11% morphology. from what his urologist and my RE said, IUI would work really well for this. Since the sperm count is high, a sperm washing would get a nice amount of good quality sperm! ask me if you have any quesions!

Oh that sounds great! I'm hoping to get a bunch of answers on Monday. I wish I was able to go with him to ask questions, but I have to work. I guess I'll have to prepare a list!!

My DH has low morphology too.
We wound up doing IVF (because of my issues) and it worked eventually. It is pretty east to get a few good sperm out of a sample and yes, all it takes is one!!

Like the others said...morphology is one of the easiest IF issues to fix.
My SIL got PG on her second IVF.
It might just be an infection right now, but if that's not the problem at least you DO know what the problem is and your RE can help you from there.

Anyone hear of getting pg through just having sex when low morphology is an issue????
Well that's what we are doing for this month at least so I'll let you know how it turns out! My GYN said we could very well get PG this cycle regardless of the low morph. Plus I had the HSG this cycle too so I am hoping it will all work out. Otherwise I think we will start with IUI's.
