Moms with 3 (or more!) What do you drive?
We have a Chevy tahoe (which I LOVE) that has 3rd row...but that means that one of the kids would be all the way in the back (not like I drive alone with them often, but still...)
Is our only realistic option a mini-van?

My sis just got the honda odysse (not sure spelling), she really was against mini vans, she had SUVs before, but felt it was the best route now that she had 3 kids. And now she LOVES IT...

Same situation with my sister.
She had 3 under 3 with a Toyota Sequoia (has a 3rd row) - It was impossible for her. She got the Honda Odysse - She loves it. She's also a fan of capatins chairs (they are just far enough away that they kids can't swat one another).

I HAVE THE MAZDA CX9 i put 3 car seats in the middle row.. and have put 1 in the third row as well.... LOVE THE TRIUCK!

I also have the suburban. Love it I fit my kids and all their friends. What I love most is you still have a full trunk. Hate the $95 price tag to fill it

That's the big reason we are getting rid of our suburban now.. the gas is HORRIBLE.. I think a minivan isn't a bad idea.. we are looking at the Toyota Sienna right now

Not what you want to hear but, with three car seats I think a mini van isn't a bad way to go. My suv has a third row that I never use because when I was shopping and doing my homework four years ago, I learned that third rows (at least at that time) were not crash tested. I bought my truck anyway because it has a huge trunk and, at the time, that was important to me.

i have a ford excursion with 4 kids. I just cant do the mini van thing yet. I am having a hard time knowing i am going to be 32 in may i just cant get a mini van now!! i think it may just send me over the edge!

probably not the greatest on gas, but I think you could totally fit 3 carseats in the back of a grand marquis. I see them barely used all the time for under 10K. I can totally see myself going that route, then selling it when I don't need the carseat room anymore.

welp we are going to be 2 and we are getting rid of our mini van- believe it or not we feel it is not enough room for 2 kids + .
we are looking at the Yukon XL Denali- I love it
cant wait to get it.
with a mini van I have the nissan quest, 2 row has bucket and third is a bench and with 2 car seats taking up both buckets there really isnt much room if we had adults in the 3rd row and needed the trunk as well.
with a minivan its the same as the yukon or tahoe as far as how far back that 3rd child will be in the 3rd row.
I couldnt believe how the quest is the same size as the yukon xl in length and just about in width- the yukon is just higher and safer IMO.

We have a ford explorer...the split of the 2nd seat was what sold us...we fold down the middle seat and have one kid on each side and then there's room for 2 in the back...Now that we actually need an 8 passenger I dont know what we are going to do?

We just got a brand new Honda Odyssey this week and love it!!!!! I have 4 kids and everyone is very comfortable/

Love this truck I told DH if he can't get me into an Acadia when my lease on the Envoy is up, I want to get into a Yukon. I'm just not a mini-van mom.
