Moms who did cake smash bday pics
If you made your own cake, did you make a full size cake?
I have the twins pics with Heather on friday and can't figure out how i'm going to do this and how i'm going to transport them...

I used the Wilton cupcake cake mold and made a full size cake.
Here is a link to the Thank I made with the cake smash photos I did.
I have done it for a few friends as well and I think a full size cake looks best.

a person on this website  did my dd smash cake pics and she made the cake herself (and did an awsome job!)

I used a large cupcake for my DD's smash cake...we got it made from a vendor on here

I used a full size cake. I bought a large & small cake from Stop & Shop & stacked them!!
I did the pictures at home....my Dad took them.
I think the full size works best. I didn't want DS to look ginormous behind the cake!!

I bought a bakery cake for $20...b/c Waldbaums didn't have anything the morning I went...My son didn't touch the darn thing at all..

I used the Wilton giant cupcake mold. The cake is very tall (much higher than a regular 2 layer cake) so I think it would be difficult to transport. I have a cake dome and it doesn't fit in there and I actually only used 1 box of cake mix when the directions call for more than that. I'd save yourself the trouble and just pick up a cheap supermarket cake!
