Moms of Preemies I have a question
I was shopping today and I ran into the wife of DH's friend. It seems another childhood friend of theirs wife went into labor at 25 weeks and the baby is in the NICU. This happened 2 weeks ago. DH talks to this guy a couple of times a year and they live 2 towns over from us. I feel so bad for this especially since this is their first and all. Do you think we should do something for them and if so what? I was thinking about cooking a meal for them and bringing it over tomorrow but like I said DH only talks to him a couple of times a year and I don't want to overstep the lines, KWIM? I told DH that he should call and he said and say what? I said that we are thinking about them and ask if there is anything they need. But guys being what they are I don't think that will happen. So what do you think I should do?
Hope this makes sense.

Honestly I think that would be nice...but they might not be home to get the door....wehn ds was in the nicu i was up there all the time....
maybe put a gc to a restaurant by the hospital in their mailbox with a note

I think either one will be great. I know we loved receiving them both. I think it is very nice of you to do that especially since your not close. I hope the baby is getting stronger everyday.
