Moms of girls-Christening dresses

So we haven't decided when to have the christening but I want to start looking at dresses.

Where do I look?

Anyone care to share pics of your DD's christening dress? Thanks!

Re: Moms of girls-Christening dresses

We got ours at a place called Charlotte's Kids in Massapequa. They had a good selection of different dresses. I honestly did try other places like BRU and Tri-County but everything was so "typical" and I also wanted something cotton since it was a July Baptism.

I will try and share pics of my daughter's dress as well as my nieces, who had a beautiful dress bought in a boutique in sayville.

another vote for charlotte's kids. They have a beautiful selection of gowns that you don't see everywhere else.

I bought Lauren's in an Irish import Store in Rockville Centre (Kathleen's of Donegals). Her baptism was in August, that's why I got her a dress made of Irish linen.

This is where we got ours from - I was a little nervous about ordering online, but I LOVE the dress we got. We got so many compliments on it (the Christening was last weekend) and I love the satisfaction guaranteed program - we ordered the gown in 2 sizes and sent back the one that we didn't need.
