Moms of DC with wide feet, I found a pair of sneakers that aren't from Striderite..
They are DC (skateboarder style) and they are so cute.. I got them from Journeys for $29.99.. Image Attachment(s):

This brand is great - my step-daughter is 16 w/ wide feet & has been wearing these for years! They are durable, too.

I have such a hard time finding sneakers for DS and I am not liking the styles at Stride Rite. I had to return 2 pair of puma's and 1 pair of lacoste sneakers (which were adorable)

My friend's DS has extra wide feet and she says New Balance also makes sneakers that fit.
