mommy brain - does it ever go away??

I swear I am not the same at work since having DS.

I completely forgot what I am doing within a matter of seconds.

I used to be really great at my job and I still do my best, but I feel scattered brained and tired all the time.

At first, I chalked it up to sleep deprivation but now DS is sleeping 7:30 to 7, and I'm still exhausted.

Does this ever go away?

I have to go to work next week and teach biotechnology to a bunch of honors students...and remembering to put on my underwear is a difficult task right now.

Re: mommy brain - does it ever go away??

DS is 17 months old and while I don't have the memory I had PP, most has come back. I am not sure the rest ever will. It is sad when you think about it, but then mommy brain strikes and then you don't remember what you were thinking about.Chat Icon
