Metered Parking at LIRR
How much are the meters at the LIRR stations? Also, is it pretty much the same at all the stations or does the price vary?

i don't pay at the station I go to. Many are free on the Ronkonkoma line!

It really depends on the station. Not all stations have meters, not all have public parking - some are by permit only etc. You should look for more info on the particular station you are going to.

some stations have on the street parking about a 1/4 of a mile away that are free. i know one or two on the south shore.

I agree. I think it's regulated by the village. Huntington (I think) is $5 or 10.
