Met my cousin's new pug on Christmas Eve
and I was a little surprised by what I saw when little Sammy ran by me.
Later on that night, my cousin explains to me that his dog is a hermaphrodite. I found this to be so unusual. But it is weird because it is something that you wonder what it would look like, but on a dog, no wondering needed. Anyone else ever seen a pet like this?
I know my MIL has a cousin who is a hermaphrodite, but it took me by surprise to actually see the private parts.

Even with hermaphrodites, wouldn't s/he still be either a male or female? I thought I saw a news show about this. Even though there would be both male and female organs, the person (or in this case dog) would still have more characteristics of 1 sex...

not sure...since they got her and thought Sammy was a girl, they still refer to her as girl. She was so small when they got her, that they thought it was just an extra piece of skin or something. They went to get her neutered, and the vet told them that she has testicles and well as a uterus.

She has a hole where female dogs do....but her member sticks out of it.
