Memory type game for 2.5 year old?

DD loves to match up flash cards, or tell us when things are "the same". Any suggestions for a memory game for her age that doesn't consist of a million little cards? DH HATES flash cards. lol. (What a weird thing to hate right?)

haha Its "The SAMES!" Now even my husband uses that word.

We got hungry catapillar cards. Square about 2 and a half by 2 and a half with the fruits the catapillar eats so she could match up.

We also (in a pinch) used uno cards or regular playing cards. Took out everything past 5 in the playing cards. Now she's up to all of them, knows the K's, Q's, J's and A's. She is also better now at knowing hearts from diamonds but at fist it was just red vs black and small numbered groups. Uno was easier.

There's lots of memory games out there. I think mostly I just with electronic versions on our phones she could play those for a long time then moved into 'real' cards. Also the game "Guess Who" or whatever (Someone got it for us) it has all the faces and you ask questions to guess who you're talking about??? anyway we just used the faces, since they come in pairs.

We made our own cards with things she likes. Fish, fruit, faces. Plus Mickey and friends.

Now she uses this:

It involves a card with images on it.. horse, starfish, octopus, fire hydrant, bicycle, butterfly, kiss, moon man, fish, shovel, fork and more. about 7-9 images on each of the cards. Then its has clear 'shadow' cards that line up with the first ones. She has to figure out how to match the shadow to the real image. It makes her figure out how to rotate the image as well since its not nice and even or all facing the same way.
