Can anyone tell me anything about Medford, good, bad or indifferent? Not sure if it is worth looking for houses there. Thanks!!!

depends on where you are looking. my inlaws live on southaven ave in medford. that is still a good area.

We just bought in Eagle Estates. If you are seriously considering Medford, make sure you are in Patchogue-Medford Schools and not Longwood. Also, check out the area where you are buying...we did a lot of weekend and nighttime drivebys.

I am not a fan of Medford but i agree with the above...as well as staying away from Riverhead SD

There are great parts and not so great parts.
Actually, parts of Gordon Heights is considered Medford. Thats a rough area.

It's very hit and miss. I recommend Medford south of the LIE - especially as you get to Woodside Ave.

I live in Medford. I have all my life. I definetly agree about south of the LIE. It is a great area. I wouldn't live any other place. I live in old medford also off of Southaven.
