(maybe wrong bd) but I miss DH's mom so much today....
Dh's mom was so awesome and more like a mom than my own is still, even w/ Samantha...and while it was my first mother's day and dh did great and we had a really nice day, I think we both knew our hearts weren't in it all the time since this tugged at our heartstrings....b/c she couldn't have her first *grand*mother's day...which is all she ever wanted in life....it stinks b/c I deserve a nice day but somehow, its always there at every holiday, but esp. mother's day....I miss her so much and don't mean to whine....sorry....just wanted to share....

 It's not often that I read about a MIL who is adored & missed. I'm sorry for you loss & that it was a bittersweet day for you.
I can't imagine how wonderful it would be to be cherished like that after I'm gone.

I know I would feel the same way if my MIL was gone, I am very close with her. Just remember she is smiling down on you, DD and DH happy that her son has such a beautiful family.
