Needless to say, I do NOT have a good relationship with my principal. He has been giving me the run around about my maternity leave claiming that he doesn't know exactly what it is or how it works.

I know we get 12 weeks FMLA unpaid and that you can use your sick time concurrently with it. My questions are as follow:

1. Are there any forms to fill out?
2. Do I have to give a set date in advance?
3. Does the 12 weeks include paid holidays like xmas break and february break?
4. If I choose not to return to work and take "child care leave" for a year, do I have to pay back any sick time or insurance premiums?

Sorry for all the questions, but my boss is a ******** and I feel like he is trying to figure out a way to screw me over. So please if you work for the DOB or have any experience with them and know about this, any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
