Mason's Birth Story
On 6/23 at my doctor appointment I was having light contractions but
was not even a centimeter dilated. That night they got a little
stronger. Then 6/24 morning they were uncomfortable. Went to the
hospital around 8:30 am and was 3 centimeters, but contractions were only 5-6 minutes
apart. Was sent home and then my doc called at around 11:30 am and
told me to come back. That she would get me on an epi and give me some pit to get things moving. Got back to hospital around 12:30 and
contractions started coming HARD. I was 5 centimeters. Finally got
epidural. Which wore off. The pain was starting to become difficult again. At 5:30 pm I asked if they could increase it because I was feeling contractions, but I was 10 centimeters. So I
did a "practice" push and doc said I was ready. I asked for more epi,
but they said no.  Pushed him out in 7 minutes.  I am very determined to not have a long and drawn out delivery.
My labor was much quicker this time around. My pre labor was pretty long. But once I got going, it went real quick.
Baby Mason is perfect and doing really well. We are so lucky to have 2 beautiful and healthy children. Thanks for reading.  Image Attachment(s):
