Manhattan OBGYN-Please Recommend
Well my obgyn no longer accepts my insurance (empire)
im on the UES and really need some recommendations. Want a Dr affiliated with either Lenox Hill or Mt Sinai who is friendly and obviously thorough.
PLEASE give me whatever recommendations you have, i am totally lost and dont know too many people in the city to ask

I used to go to Dr. Alan Adler's office. He is on 84th and Park and is affiliated with Mt. Sinai. There are 3 other doctors in the practice.

Me too!!! And I had empire as well!!!! They make you see all the docs, as any of them could be"on" your delivery. I really liked Adler but DS came via the other dude, forget his name, let's just say he wasn't my favorite. The female OBs they had (there were 2 at the time I saw them) were wonderful...

Dr Rebarber at Mt Sinai is excellent - he used to be at NYU and I saw him many many years ago when I was preg with ds...

I know who you are talking about
me three  The female drs are Kassenoff and Bohn but Bohn left recently and they got a new female named Trentacoste who is just as amazing! The othe dude was Kurtz and he delivered DD bc Kassenoff (my main OB who delivered DS had her baby 2 days before me!). Anyway, a long winded way of saying I cant say enough good things about this office! Highly recommend!
