Luca is going 4 hours between feedings at night!
thank god  he is waking up to eat almost exactly 4 hours apart. much better than 2 or 3 hours!
but for during the day, should i be trying to get him to go longer between feedings? he is still eating about every 2 hours. (he is 4 weeks today)

I would not making wait during the day if he is hungry. He needs to eat when he asks for it. That's still too young.

ITA - don't make him wait during the day.
Great news on the night feedings!!
I find the fuller they are during the day the better they sleep at night.

My ped says he is the boss, feed him whenever he is hungry, no matter how often. Congrats on the 4 hrs

Congrats on the 4hours of sleep at night LB
I have no advice.. mine is 6weeks old (today actually) and she still feeds every 3hours.. Last night though she went 5 and a half quietly!! too bad it was early in the evening or we would have joined her!!! She has her longer days that others, but right now she's sick so I feed her whenever she wants it!!!

i think he is still too little to hold him off for a bottle. Katie is 7 weeks and she is usually every 3 hours but at night sometimes she goes 5 hrs. But I def feed her when I know she is hungry

DD is like this she eats like clockwork during the day every 3 hrs at night she sleeps for like 4-5hrs at a time
