Lost Question...
Don mentioned Lost on another thread and I remember I meant to ask this....
So was the Korean guy a hit man for the father in law?

Yup, that is what DH & I gathered
I soooo did not think their story was going to play out like that... I knew that obviously something went wrong between their marriage but I never thought it was THAT
AHH how I loooove that show!

I kind of think it was a combination of both.. but mainly that he turned into a man she never wanted him to be .. that she loved him when he was just a waiter and all he could offer her was a flower.. but now she had all the money in the world but it was at a cost, and she was miserable.
It also seemed that she was VERY unhappy in that scene after he had spoken to her father .. and he came out and told her that they could get married but be working for her Dad .. it seemed like she knew that it was going to be ugly.
And I dont know , but there might have been some slight implication that he abused her , maybe just verbally but I'm not sure.. I think I may have missed a part of the conversation she was having with that woman who was telling her what she needed to do to leave him ... she seemed very scared (obviously) and was most fearful if she couldn't pull it off and if he'd found her, what would happen 
I just still dont get why he overreacted the way he did when the other guy took the watch.. it was like W T H??

And ok I'm SUCH a SAP but I started tearing up when they showed the flashback to them at the airport, when she was just about to walk out the door and leave him.. but he holds up the flower ..  so sad

I thought she looked kind of apprehensive when he said he would be working for her father.
I guess the watch thing was a thing of honor...he said he would take care of it for the FIL. I guess he was that scared of the FIL!

Yep , it was a thing of honor .. good point.. and he really was terrified of his FIL, which is crazy when ya think about it
And I'm such a loser, I constantly refer to the Jack character as "Charlie" (because Matthew Fox was Charlie on Party of Five) and then when the guy from Lord of the Rings comes on and they call him "Charlie" .. I get all confused 
Not to mention if I try explaining the scene to DH if he missed it I keep saying things like "so CHARLIE keeps seeing visions of his dead father" and DH is like "what? Charlie is the elf from LOTR, who on Lost is an addict... "
Ok and I also got teary when the real Charlie found his guitar.. LOL .. I need valium when I watch this show!

It is a GREAT show and I am glad ABC is rerunning it through the summer to give all of us who missed it the first time around a chance to see it!
Also why do you think Locke is able to walk now?
