Lost dog -
My sister's newly-adopted dog slipped her collar and ran away this morning. I've been driving around for hours. West Hempsteaad area. She looks a little like a Golden, smaller - about 40 lbs.
Please FM me if you have any info - she has called the police and the shelters. The mail carrier said she saw a loose dog on a nearby street but I haven't been able to find her.

 Tell her to call all of the shelters, call the local precinct and to put it on PetFinder and Craigslist. This is what a lot of people do now. Did the dog have a chip???

OH Geez....I hope she finds her...I agree with calling all the shelters within a 25 mile radius - Dogs move quickly and posting on Petfinders and Craigslist.
