Looks like baby will be coming soon!
So, I am only 35 weeks. I went on Friday to L&D after spending all of thnaksgicing with incredibly high BP. So in L&D they started running all the blood tests for Pre-eclampsia when they noticed that I was having contractions every 2-5 minutes. So they performed an internal - expecting to tell me I was closed. Turns out I am almost 100% effaced and about 2cm dilated.  All of a sudden one of my blood levels comes back elevated and they start talking about inducing me that night or the following day. DH and I were like
So, they kept me for 24 hour observation. My conttractions would calm down and then pick up again but by yesterday afternoon they subsided considerably. I am borderline for pre-e. I was sent home last night on bedrest. They hope I can make it to 37 weeks but if not they said its not a huge thing b/c the baby looks really big. Either way they think I'll either go on my own within the next 2 weeks or they'll have to induce in 2 weeks b/c of my bp.
SOrry so long - it was just a CRAZY weekend.
Oh and I am still contracting quite a bit.

Best of luck...and TAKE IT EASY. My aunt had severe complications with pre-eclamsia with her 3rd child. The high BP never went away because of it. So take it very seriously [as I'm sure you are] and REST. No matter what isn't done, just calmly insist others do it for you.

Wow!!! I'm sure that's exciting and scary at the same time! Get lots of rest and take it easy! The longer baby cooks the better
