Looking for big sister gift ideas...
I have a few weeks left to find a nice gift for DD for when her baby brother arrives. Any suggestions? I'm looking on Etsy for something unique...but I wanted to get some other ideas.
ETA: She'll be 4 when  is born if that makes any difference.

I got DS lots of gifts when he became a big brother. "The babies" gave him a few little presents in the hospital... trucks, a super soaker, a ball.
When we came home from the hospital he got his big gift, which was a ride on train with tracks.
I didn't get him anything sentimental though.

I figured something sentimental would be nice. And her birthday is 2 days after my due date - so she'll be getting lots of presents in the weeks surrounding that time. Plus, she'll be turning 4 - so she might appreciate something sentimental. Not sure why I'm making this such a tough decision.

Im in the boat right now. A friend had suggested to ask DD what's one gift she really really wants so her baby brother can bring it but she's not saying much.... May e ask your DD since she's 4 what's the one thing she wants so he can bring it for her. For my friend her DD still grabs the gift and tells everyone very proudly that her brother ga e it to her.

ETA: DS was two when DD was born. I got him the handy manny repair truck. Both of my kids still play with it almost two years later. When DS visited me in the hospital I also got him some smaller things, like books, stacking clowns, and stickers.

why not just get her a big sister bottle cap necklace and matching hair bow, then some smaller toys gifts? you could also get her a frame so she could have a pic of the two of them for her room.

I got my 2yr old dd a boy baby that her new brother gave her in thehospital and a big sister photo album from gund.
She also gave her baby brother the blue, boy version of her favorite stuffed animal when she visited him.

I got my DD a big sister necklace from Etsy. Other people gave her books,big sister t-shirts, and a build a bear.
