looking for answers to two totally unrelated questions?
Thank you in advance!
If you were in a grab bag for christmas would this be something you would ever want:Graniteware 19-Quart Decorated Clam and Lobster Steamer Pot
http://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/product.asp?SKU=13118833
If I did it I would also include related lobster/clam things. Opinions?
Second question:
Fashion speaking....are mens vests out? my dh wears one and is now concerned, he is not with the times, lol!
ETA: the vest is just a Gap winter puffy vest thing.

I wouldnt, but my DH would love the steamer thing. I think its a very taste specific gift and would maybe go with something more generic.
As for the vests, I have no idea. DH wears jean and tshirts, or khakis and a polo.

Re: looking for answers to two totally unrelated questions?
I don't think I would like that as a grab bag gift --- for the sheer size of it and having to store it. But I have a small kitchen. It is a very nice item though.
As for the sweater vests -- I think they still look great. But I'm never been one who is big on keeping up with trends and what not. DH looks effing hot in a sweeter vest and button down...I'll be happy if he keeps wearing it for the next 10 years. Trendy or not.
ETA: i see you meant puffy vests -- I still think they are great and I'd go for it.

Considering that we keep kosher, the lobster and clam steamer would not do it for me. No shellfish here. Honestly, though, I think you kind of have to know that the person you're buying for eats and likes preparing shellfish.
As far as the outerwear vests, I think they're still okay, not that my DH wears them.

I'm allergic to shellfish so its a big no for the first one.
On the vests topic I think they are fine.

Re: looking for answers to two totally unrelated questions?
Yeah I agree with the others that its taste specific for the lobster pot...I love shellfish but i don't need another huge pot to store. What about a rice cooker/veggie steamer? I LOVE mine.
As far as the puffy vest goes, I think its fine! :) I don't think puffy anything is in or out anymore, its more of a staple like a plain tee...

I wouldn't want the pot.
I don't see people wearing puffy vests often, but I wouldn't think your DH was weird for wearing one.
