Looking for a new primary care physician - East Meadow area
Looking to switch primary doctors. My DH and I both need physicals and looking for a new doctor. Can anyone recommend theirs. We are in east meadow, but Levittown, Merrick, Bellemore would all be fine. TIA!

It's not too far- Hicksville. I have a FANTASTIC Dr- Dr. Jed Hantverk. He spends time with you. Never rushes and actually cares. His office is called Salisbury Medical Practice. I truly love this man.

He is my doctor too and he is excellent. But please be warned the office staff is awful and he is nearly impossible to get an appointment with. The nurses are good its the women in the front. There are few doctors in the practice -- I am not a fan of the rest of them so I only see him.

Agreed on the staff. I have never had an issue getting an appointment with him though. When I am sick, he finds time to see me. Annual check ups have to be booked months in advanced. I only see him as well. He is the best.

I also go to East Meadow Family Practice....all good, unfortunatly the wait time can be up to an 1.....I see NP Heidi Rosen, never rushes you, all other PA's and Dr's also good....good luck in your search....
