Looking ahead-with questions
My cycles have been around 38 days each since I went off the pill. I m/c in early October and was told to wait one cycle before trying again. I expected that it would be another 38 day wait, but I have been temping and according to my chart on fertility friend I O'd on day 16...Usually happens on day 24 or so....
So do you think AF will be coming around 8 days earlier now? That would make me so happy to have this cycle end sooner....30 days is a decent cycle at least.
Opinions?

I am definitley no expert, but a couple things I have read say that you should get AF 14 days after you O.

14 days is based on 28 day cycle- which is somewhat of a farce. A normal cycle can run anywhere from 25 to 38 days (or more)
Do you know what your luteal phase (the time from O to AF) was before the mc? Although O can vary month to month, each woman has her own individual average luteal phase. The LP does not vary- it's always the same.
When I was charting, I found that my LP was 15 days. I O'ed anywhere from CD13 to CD15, but my LP was always the same.

Just wanted to add that my luteal phase avg is 13 days, but I can go anywhere from 12-14 days from my o date, which ranges from cd 15-18.
