Local activities for our family's "vacation" week
We were going to go away this weekend, but it didn't work out. So I want to surprise DH with some plans for local activities! So far I think we could go to Atlantis in Riverhead, and go over to Fire Island to go to the beach for the day.
Our DC are 5 and almost 3 years old.
I am open to suggestions! Any ideas?

Maybe you could hit some of the Farms out east that do "pic your own" produce? The link at the top of this forum as a ton of awesome family day activities.

Long Island Game Farm
Childrens Museum of the East End
We did PUmpkin picking last year with friends then hit a winery with an outdoor area and had a picnic lunch. THe kids played while we enjoyed a bottle of wine!
