LIJ, New Hyde Park Visiting Policy...

My baby girl was born 18 days early... and even though they state they have somewhat of a "new" visitation policy, they aren't enforcing it.

my DS (23 months) & 2 nephews (9 & 11) both came up here. i had 7 people visiting after hours, i had people visit before hours as well.

I had my DS there on 12/30/08 and it was like a party in our room all day with the amount of visitors, including small children bedside with the lady across and next to me. I was in a 4-bed because I delivered vaginally with no complications. I think unless you have a c-section they put you in a 4-bed.

I was discharged within 24 hours so it didn't bother me personally, but I know it may other people.

I LOVED delivering there though and would never go anywhere else. The care I received was amazing.
