Level II and preggo brain
I went for my Level II this morning and everything looks great according to the tech. and the Dr.!!  I am so beyond thrilled, and relieved. Baby is 12 oz. and measuring perfectly. The sono knows the sex but we do not. I am guessing boy just because I have thought that all along, and because she knew without doing any maneuvering.
The tech was surpised I was so concerned - she said most women just want to know the sex, and had I had a bad experience? The truth is a good friend went for her Level II and had very bad news so I have been maybe overly-concerned. She wound up having to terminate. Maybe that is why I am so relieved...
OK so now preggo brain -- I got a TON of pictures. I put them in my pocket and guess what -- I lost them!!  I am so incredibly angry with myself right now. DH had them and I MADE him give them to me...and look what happens!!
Does anyone have their Rx from NSUH with the phone # on it? I am going to call to see if we can get copies....

Congrats for the healthy sono!!! I admire your willpower to not find out.
Don't let the quickness in her determining the sex sway you- I'm having a girl and the tech immediately said-"Oh, that's a baby girl!" as soon as she got to "that area". They can determine pretty easily- there's 3 lines that show up where the vulva is. (ugh I just said vulva.....)
And I KNOW about preggo brain!! When we went for the sono, I asked my husband for his insurance card while we were in the car. I HAD the insurance card- until we got to the office. I tore EVERYTHING apart and started to get upset. He ran back to the car and found it in the parking lot! Duh......
Congrats again on the healthy bean!

The pictures are either by the Great Neck train station - where I dropped DH off after the appt. -- or somewhere in the bank parking lot (juney can ya take a peek?).
I spoke to the hospital and they said they don't have any extras to give me 
But apparently I will be getting more sonos since I am considered high risk - although my OB says I'm not...!
DH isn't mad at all....he says they weren't that clear anyway!! LOL!!

i'm sorry about the pictures, maybe they will still turn up. did you search under the car seat, maybe they fell out of your coat pocket, when driving dh to train.
