Let's talk cold weather running!

What do you wear to run outside as the weather gets colder? Specifically - what brand/style do you like for your running gear?

ALL my running clothes are cropped pants and t-shirts/tanks. I definitely need some cold weather running stuff!

I like the Under Armour cold gear a lot.

Last year was pretty mild, hopefully it will be that way this year!

The best thing I own for winter running are these fleece lined tights from Lululemon. They are pricey (100), but when it gets REALLY cold they are amazing and totally worth every penny.

Re: Let's talk cold weather running!

I have a lightweight Nike jacket, two compression shirts that I haven't worn much because I think I look like a stuffed sausage in them Chat Icon, ski socks with extra padding in the soles that go up to my knees and lightweight gloves if it's really cold.

Otherwise, I run in the same clothes year round. But the coldest I've done is about 35. I can't find them on their website, but I wear Nike pants from D*cks. They're black and come in three sizes - regular, slim fit, and .... something slimmer than slim fit, "skinny" maybe. These are slim fits:

They are snug from the waist to the knee, and then flare out. There's a little pocket on the inside of the waist for a key. Believe it or not, the slim fit is the most comfortable and I feel the most flattering too.

I do have a headband thing that's supposed to go over my ears but I hardly ever wear them. Chat Icon I tend to not feel cold once I've warmed up.

Oh you know I'm an expert here!

For pants, I have different stuff for different weather.

For cold but not freezing, I wear these from Old Navy.

But for colder weather i wear these

As for shirts, I usually layer. I love Nike drifit hoodies. Even in the dead of winter, I wear one of those over a sports bra and tank top and I'm fine once I start going.

I also have great gloves from Lululemon as well as a fleece ear cover thing.

Either way, we can go shopping together for winter running gear Chat Icon

I buy most of my running clothes at TJ Maxx or Marshall's so I have a mix of brands. I like running tights on my legs (I usually feel cold when I start out but I warm up). On top I usually wear a tank with a long sleeved tee over it (I have an amazing one that is very lightly fleece lined-I think the brand is Layer 8), and then I have a jacket if it's really cold. I also usually have something to cover my ears and gloves.

I love running tights and the mock neck shirts. I have under armor and also nike cold gear.

Also, I found some good mock neck shirts in the Target kids section!! They were about $10 and pretty warm. I would have to wear something over it, but for the price it works.

I love Under Armor and wear CWX runnign tights. I ran in 19 degree weather last year without a problem and I am the girl that is cold if it is less than 80 degrees out, lol!
