No kidding! It is kinda cute how excited he is. Like a kid in a candy shop.
One of his best friends used that same theme to walk into his wedding. We had a band so I did not think it would play out well.

here's what i don't get
this goes for all the football widows - not just those on this board
I hate women who, when football is on, sulk around the house and give the husband crap for watching something he enjoys.
It's one day out of a 7-day week.
Now, if he's neglecting you the other 6 days of the week with other things, that's one thing.
But, I mean really - for most of us in normal situations - I say, get a hobby or do something you enjoy like shopping or whatever, vs. staying home and trying to make him feel guilty
This is a general statement and not directed at anyone in particular.

Don that is the point it is a WHOLE day. I am not a football widow by any stretch, but why is it that when it comes to football a lot of men spend Sunday watching the pre-pre-game, then the pre-game, then the game, then the next pre-game, then the next game? Why can't you (not you personally, but in the general sense) root for one team and watch that one team be it Sunday or Monday. Why is all day Sunday and all night Monday?
No guy I know is like this with any other sport. A guy watches baseball - he roots for one team. Same with basketball and hockey. But football??? It is the only sport with 3 full hours or pre-game coverage!!! To me it seems like a woman is almost committing sacrilege to suggest watching and rooting for one team and one team only.
