She's the Queen of Mean. A very nasty old woman who married Harry Helmsley who was a huge real estate guy back in the day. The used to own half of midtown, and I used to work for her.
She went to jail in the early 90s for tax evasion.

Sad as it is to say in a post about her passing, she was incredibly notorious for mistreating her staff and also for her issues with paying the proper taxes.
