Leaving for Disney on Wed..any last minute suggestions/warnings/reminders?

I'm so excited, I haven't been in over 10 years and DH has NEVER been! Going with some friends, all grownups, we have our dinner reservations and all that good stuff...

any thing we HAVE to see?
Should just skip?

Test Track was GREAT.
LOVED the Toy Story ride in DHS's (MGM)

Hopefully it will be empty like it was for us as we were able to get through the parks in one day a peice :)
HAVE FUN :)

Do you have tickets for MNSSHP (Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party)? If not I would consider trying to get them - it is a lot of fun and the parade and fireworks are great!!! If you get tickets you can enter the MK on your MNSSHP I think as early as 3 or 4 even though the party doesn't start until 9. We were there this week a year ago. There were NO lines for any of the rides at the party and we had a great time.

Where are you staying?
You can go to the poly (even if you aren't staying there) and at around 9pm there is an electrical parade you can watch from their beach. Check the calendar - b.c you can time it so you can go sit on the beach watch the electrical parade, then stay and watch the MK fireworks (they have speaker rocks that pipe in the music/narration that accompanies the show) - you don't need park tickets or to go to the MK to see them. You can also see the Boo to you fireworks on a MNSSHP night at the poly beach - we thought it was a pretty good show. You can just go to the TTC and walk over to the poly beach if you are staying at another resort.

If your group is mostly adults - you might want to consider - drinks around the world. I know many people go over to world showcase and sample different drinks at the different countries.

You will be there during the EPCOT food festival and there are a lot of little stands with various foods and drinks. It is interesting just to see what they have. We didn't get to try anything last time b.c I had DD with me - but they were really popular with the adults.

I would be happy to give you a bunch of tips and help if you want - FM me!!

Thanks girls. We are staying at Disney Carribbean Beach Resort. I am PG, so I can't go on ALL rides, but I've printed out all the lists of what I can/can't ride, so I'm all set on that. We will definitely check out the food and wine festival.

What exactly is the not so scary halloween party? Do you think 6 adults will enjoy this?

Thanks for the tip on going to poly and watching the fireworks/parade. Since I am PG, I think I may be heading back to the hotel earlier everyday and napping, and heading back to the parks may be just too much for me with the crowds.

This ride is THE BEST!! The 2 times I went on it the stand-by line was over an hour wait. Go first thing when you get to MGM and get the fast pass. 2 weeks ago when we went they were out of fast passes by 1pm. When we got there at 10am our fast passes were already for 3:45pm.

Don't go on a Friday. Local Floridians go on Friday's and it's more packed than during the day! It might not be worth it right now because it's the low season and the parks aren't packed during the day. It would be worth it if you want to go on rides over and over again with minimal to no lines. The halloween fireworks are the best I have seen in a long time, but I don't know if that is worth the $60-something it is to go to the party. But seeing everyone in costumes is fun, and if you want to dress up go for it!! There were some amazing costumes when I went 2 weeks ago!

Have fun!!

Since you are pg, be very careful about the heat. We just came back last night and it was deadly hot.

Drink a lot of water and take a lot of breaks. See a lot of the shows in the air conditioning.

Where do you have your dinner reservations?
