Last Letters Home HBO Documentary
Did anyone see the documentary Last Letters Home on HBO? It's a profile of about 10 different families who lost someone in Iraq. They read the last letters sent by their loved one lost.
It is so worth watching... It made me cry, but really raised my awareness about the sacrifice made by everyone in the military... especially around this time of year.

Can't even sit through 5 minutes of it. It brings me back to when DH was overseas and I was a mess for those 9 months. No matter how much time passes, I am instantly "there" when I see these things.

Uhhhhhhhh....I saw that a while back. I was watching it alone and Dh came home from work and found me in tears. I was a mess. It is a great documentary but very sad.

Yes, I saw this. It was so touching. The one where the father broke down, and the letter was all about how he really wanted to be just like his dad and looked up to him was so sad. Just thinking about it gives me chills.
