Laser Hair Removal questions - Updated with another question
If you've had it done, are you happy with the results? From what I understand, it is not necessarily permanent, right? Also, if anyone has had their bikini area done, about how many sessions did it take? Oh and how painful is it?
Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!!
ETA: Is anyone familiar with the GentleLase machine? Is it true that it is not suitable for darker skin tones?

I go next wednesday for my first visit. I can let you know how it goes.
My cousin had it done 5yrs ago and has only had 1 touch up. I'd like to hear others opinions on this too.

I had bikini and underarms done years ago and I can say I still rarely shave and the regrowth is very fine. I just started getting my legs done. Bikini def took 6 sessions.

Underarms- 7 sessions
a yr later, no growth. one or two small fine hairs, nothing more.
Brazilian- 8 sessions. I *think* no more are needed. cant say.
small areas still have fine hair left.
Pain is tolerable.
Next- Lip.
I just had photorejevnation done on my face so I have to wait.

Had my sideburns, lip and chin done about 5 years ago. Best decision ever! It was super expensive but soooooo worth it.
