Lake George< Ocean City or Virginia Beach recommendations
My husband and I are looking to take a vacation with our almost 3 yr old probably in July. We had thoughts of maybe Ocean City, Virginia Beach or Lake George. We have a vacation fund, but dont need anywhere crazy and nothing super expensive. Just looking for something nice and reasonable, clean and family friendly with a good amount of things to do, even if its just hanging by the beach or lake. I went to lake george a lot as a kid, but we stayed at a family friends house so i'm not familiar with any of the hotels/cabins etc. Any suggestions?

Lake George is very kid friendly and close to home.

Are you looking for on the lake (cabin or cottage) or hotel.
They normally book up pretty fast.

Lake George def! It is close to home and so much to do! My kids love going there because of the lake and the water being so calm! It can get pricey though so beware!!! I was shocked at how much it cost us last year!

Lake George is great for the family - we stayed at Six Flags Great Escape Lodge and loved it. As a guest at the hotel you also get free use of the hotel indoor waterpark which is a great perk if it rains!
