How far along are you? It could be your mucus plug- but we just learned in our childbirth class that losing your mucus plug and labor could happen a few weeks apart! If you start to leak fluid or contractions happen regularly call your doc. Good luck!

It's different for everyone but with my first DS I lost my mucus plug and had the baby about 10 hours later so you never know (he was 3 weeks early)

It is a sign, but it does not dictate when you will go into labor. I started losing my mucous plug three weeks ago at 38 weeks. I am now 40 weeks, 1 day and no signs of regular contractions.
