Kosher deli in or near Commack?
I have to pay my respects to my co-worker's family (her father passed away yesterday) sometime this week. I am not from Suffolk so I was wondering if anyone could tell me of a Kosher deli where I can pick up something for the family before i go to the house. I live upstate and I don't know of anything up where I live. She lives near Town Line Rd, also near Cedar Rd...if anyone knows of any kosher delis around there that would be great. Thanks.

bagel boss in mayfair shopping center is kosher - great catering.
... that is the same shopping center as outback on jericho tpke btw!
and there is a jewish deli also in mayfair -- it is right in between waldbaum's and rite aid... i don't know the name off the top of my head but you can't miss it in between those two stores.

The Bagel Boss on the corner of Elwood and Jericho has a separate kosher section.
It was the only one in the area where I could pick up "something sweet" on my way to a shiva call.
Pastrami and Friends on Commack Road (Townline south of Jericho becomes Commack) is good for catering but they had nothing I could take with me.

We use them for catering events at the office for our orthodox students and faculty.
They also deliver.

There is a kosher deli in the Meat Farms shopping center just south of Jericho Turnpike on Commack Rd.
