kitchen countertop
planning ahead...
what is a good countertop. Im not looking for the cheap way to do it when redoing the kitchen we want to do it right. What is a nice countertop that will not make us go broke but will be longlasting and beautiful.
I have been looking and i like silestone but can not find a price on it .

we have a smaller kitchen so we will be going with granite- it actually wasnt as pricey as I would have thought
but obviously if you have a large kitchen, it could be really expensive

we did butcher block, so cost effective yet really nice.
Check out Ikea for counter options.

I'm doing quartz from Cambia, which is the same as Silestone. Caesarstone is another manufacturer.
Let me check the size and the cost.
It's only two tops for my galley kitchen.

We are doing granite, our kitchen is also not that large. Ended up being $1700 including a sink. We just got the template done so it hasn't been installed yet, but we were happy to get the cost under $2000

Also Coriane is nice and looks like granite but cheaper
