kind of weird TMI question
I'm 35+ weeks and sometimes I feel a somewhat sharp, but quick pain right in the vaginal wall. Is that normal? Does it mean that things are happening down there? I go for my first internal on Friday morning.

I've felt this before too (36 weeks here). I'm pretty certain it's normal and means things are progressing

I have been having that really bad. It's pretty painful. I asked the doctor today and she said alot of women experience it. She said its most likely from the baby's head pressing possibly on a nerve.

yes, this actually just started happening to me over the weekend... the sharpness of the pain startles me
I actually feel like I dropped a bit (I was carrying pretty high), but I will ask my doctor tomorrow about it.. and I'm also having my 2nd internal so I'll be curious to see if anything else is going on

I also felt in my last weeks. I noticed it more when I walked up and down stairs.
