Kind of regretting not getting pics done of DD
I love taking pictures and honestly, I thought I would have already gotten a decent portrait of DD by now but I have been so wrapped up in just being a new mommy that the thought of even picking up my camera to try and get good shots is not even an option some days.
I regret maybe not hiring someone like Summer Lyn to take pictures so I can remember this time. Do you think it's too late? DD is almost 6 weeks.

Not at all!!! We did our pics with summer when DD was 8ish weeks! They came out beautiful!!!!!

Not at all but I am a new mommy as well and did some great pics myself! Take an hour out of the crazy hectic day and set up an area....a few outfits...some props if you want to get really into it and give it a try. I was SO surprised with how well I did and how well Mattea's pics came out considering shes so little and really can't make eye contact with the camera yet. I hada blast!!!

we did our pics with Summer when Alexa was 12 weeks..... She still looks super little and cute but more ALERT!

It is absolutely not too late. All of the ladies here are talented, but my personal fav is Forever Fireflies (aka hbugal).

I know how you feel. Those pictures give me babyfever too. I wish I could go back in time for photos like that too.
If you're looking to get pictures, Summer's blog said she's booking November now. So if you want to score photos for the holidays, I'd book that person as soon as you can.

I had my DS's Pics taken with summerlyn when he was 6 weeks old. they are in one of my albums....

Thanks everyone. I actually inquired with my photographer for our wedding, I just love her photos. I wasn't sure if she did "newborn" style photography but if not I'll inquire with Summer Lynn about her availability.

Not at all! We had DD pics taken when she was exactly 4 months old, I loved that she had a little smile by then and baby fat

Its never too late ...We were fortunate enough to have Forever Fireflies do pic's of my DD around the 6 week mark and they came out beautiful ! I say go for it
