Kids these days!
We're interviewing law students for part-time internships in our office for the remaining semester.
The job posting CLEARLY says we are seeking part-time students for the spring semester, and yet, half the applications are responding with interest to the summer program. No you dimwits, READ THE POSTING, it does not say SUMMER internship.
And then, I had an interview with one of these kids last week. I spent 20 minutes explaining how we need students this spring, 10-15 hours a week, during the semester. I called him up 10 minutes ago to offer him the position, and he was shocked when I mentioned starting in a week, and was under the impression it was a summer program.
I spent TWENTY minutes explaining to him in the interview that it was a part-time spring semester program - what the hell was he doing while I was talking?

I am getting the same thing..I'm recruiting for a summer internship for UNDERGRAD ONLY - and I keep getting Master's students who are applying
