Kid friendly things to do in NYC???
Any ideas? I know of the Bronx Zoo and Central Park Zoo. DH thinks DS might like the Museum of Natural History...but he's only 3, so I'm not sure.

May be too young for the museum IMO. Brooklyn Aquarium- coney island?

I got the "adult" version of this and then I went back for the kid version.
City Walks with Kids: New York: 50 Adventures on Foot
You can get it at B&N.
Its 50 cards with ideas within a small area - they take about 1-3 hours. There is a map on one side and the "tour" on the other. You can put a few together to create a longer day.

My nephew won't be 3 until next month, but my sister and BIL took him to the intrepid a couple of times already and he LOVED it.

There's the Childrens Museum of Manhattan, the Childrens Art Museum, FAO schwartz is always fun. If you look on MommyPoppins.com they give great ideas as well.

We went to the Museum of natural History today, and had a great time. DD will be 4 in June.
I love the Central Park Zoo. I've heard the M&Ms store in Timfes Square is a lot of fun.
For the evening, there is a great interactive theatre for kids on the weekends...http://www.gallitheaterny.com/Welcome.html
