Keep getting mail and the person doesn't live here.
It started about 2-3 weeks ago, mail being delivered here and the person does not live here. And never has.
Is there any way to stop this?
Is no big deal, but it's irritating.

I just put Return to Sender - Person or persons do not live here or you can stop at the post office to let them know you are all of a sudden getting mail for these people. I got that all the time when I moved into our new home it took a while to stop.

Seven years later, I still get mail for the previous tenant. I mark it return to sender and leave it for the mailperson.

Worse...I was getting mail at my house for my DH's ex-wife! He lived with her at one apartment, moved out and bought the house with me. He put forwarding on HIS mail and we're getting HER junk mail to OUR house, which drives me NUTS.
I actually called the places that were sending the mail and threatened them to not send another piece of mail with her name on it!  They stopped!!

I get mail for my former fiance who passed away 11 years ago. I usually write on it "Return to Sender - Addressee Deceased 11 years ago"

Unless it looks really important, i throw it out. I have been getting mail from the previous people in our apt. In the beginning for like 6 months i would write RTS no longer at this address. But they kept sending mail there. So unless it looks like something important i toss it.

If it's junk mail the post office will just throw it out - so they told me I could do the same. First class they will return to sender.
Our previous owners still have their tax records sent to our house ?

same here - except i just stick it in the mailbox. they stopped after a while.

But see, what is irking me is that this person never lived here. And the piece of mail I got today is from NYC Dept of Sanitation about recycling and on the envelope it says "Welcome to a recycling neighborhood"
