Just read a great book and want to share...
The Invisible Bridge by Julie Orringer. It's about Hungarian Jews in in Paris/Budapest during WWII. There are parts that are REALLY hard to read, as with anything dealing with the Holocaust. But the characterization is near-flawless, the story is amazing, the research is impeccable. It was almost 700 pages on the Nook and I couldn't put it down. I read it in a day and a half... I was totally mesmerized.
