Just got back from the Melting Pot
First of all, they should rename the place "Heaven for Preggos".
Cheese and chocolate and all things delicious!! 
We got there a little early, so they told us we could wait at the bar.
This woman walks up to me and says "You're about 9 months, right?"
I say "Yes, only two weeks left!"
Then she says "I'm the owner and I'm not sure you are going to fit into the booth we have ready for you. Do you mind coming with me to make sure you will fit?"
She was very nice about it, but it was a little embarassing. 
So I tried out the booth and I was able to fit just fine.
The food and service were great and the owner even came over at the end and gave me a rose and wished us luck.
Embarassment aside it was a great evening, but DH couldn't stop laughing about it.

That does sound embarassing, but at least she was looking to make sure you were comfy enough. Glad it was delicious, I would LOVE that too...nothing better than fondue!

I had a similair thing at TGIF's when they tried to fit me into a booth..I didnt fit

Yep! It was great!
But you have to call early to get a good time for a reservation.

O my Gosh ... the same thing happened to me and my DH hear in CHI town @ a very well known Mexican restaurant...but I really could not fit in the both and we had to sit at a bar high table ,,but the staff was really nice my dh could not stop giggling and he kept reminding me that I stil had three months to go!!!  I thought it was funny!!!!
