Just another proud mama post
DS will be 3 months on Saturday and everyday when I wake up and see him I am just amazed.
He came only 3 months ago and I am totally in love with him. I am so proud of his accomplishments. Some of you may remember that I posted when He was just 2 weeks old and would be fussy all day long, wanting me to hold him and carry him all the time. It went on for weeks. Not being able to do a single thing in the house. Having to wait for DH to come home so I could take a shower. I even questioned myself as a mom that I could not make him happy with me and that it made me feel horrible. But I kept attending to all his needs. Holding him every time, every day. Going to walks. Talking to him.
Now, he smiles at me, at his mobile, at his toys (or the AC unit!!!), he "talks" all day long. He grabs my hand (and reaches for my wedding band!!!!). His progress are unbelievable to me. I honestly don't know if he is behind or ahead compares to other kids his age (the ped said he was just on target!). But he has made some good milestones and I am happy with the speed of his development. I am so proud of him.

i am so happy for you!! I felt overwhelmed in the beginning too! Aren't babies amazing...and they grow sooooo fast.

Aw, that is fantastic. Glad to hear he's made such great progress  My DD will be 12 weeks tomorrow, and she sounds like she was very similar to your DS in the beginning, very needy, needing to be held, etc. She's made great strides too, is so happy, etc.
What a fantastic feeling, right?
