John Legend Finds His Baby Lookalike on Twitter, Chrissy Teigen Freaks Out: Meet His Doppelganger!
Doppelbaby! John Legend has a startling lookalike, and the Grammy-winning singer's doppelganger is a little baby named Caden!
St. Louis native and proud aunt Rachel Ayanaw tweeted a photo of the adorable Legend lookalike on Easter Sunday, April 20. "My nephew looks like John Legend lol," she wrote in the post alongside a pic of Caden strapped into a car seat.
The little tot, 4 months, remarkably resembles the "All of Me" crooner, down to his chubby-cheeks and smiley expression in the photo. Eventually, the tweet went viral and prompted the nine-time Grammy winner to address his baby doppelganger with his own throwback photo.
Legend, 35, shared a baby pic of himself, naked and smiling while posing atop a furry yellow floor. "My actual baby picture," he wrote via Instagram Monday, April 21. "For comparison's sake." If anything, baby Caden looks more like the "Green Light" singer today than even Legend himself.
Even Legend's wife Chrissy Teigen expressed her excitement over baby Caden and tweeted Monday, "Oh my god please stop I have seen the baby that looks like john." The 28-year-old Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover girl added, "I HAVE SEEN IT AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH."
Married since last September, Legend and Teigen have no children. They are -- however -- madly in love. The supermodel accompanied her husband to a Citi cardholder exclusive concert in Hollywood on Monday, where Legend gushed about his beloved wife.
As he started to sing, "You and I," an eyewitness tells Us Weekly that Legend said to the crowd, "When I wrote this song, I was thinking about when Chrissy and I go on date night." The singer added, "Sometimes there's so much pressure to look good. This song is to let her know that even without the makeup and all those fancy clothes, she's already perfect in my eyes."
