Jinger Duggar Engaged to Jeremy Vuolo After Whirlwind Courtship: See Her Ring!
Jinger and Jeremy forever! 19 Kids and Counting alum Jinger Duggar is engaged to her soccer player boyfriend, Jeremy Vuolo, a TLC rep confirms to Us Weekly.
"So excited to share this news that we are now engaged," the couple tell Us in a statement. "From both of us, thank you all for the countless well-wishes we’ve received during the courtship. We are so excited to take this next step in spending our lives together. We are so grateful for how the Lord has brought us together. It has been an incredible journey so far and we are excited about serving Christ together in the coming days."
Duggar, 22, and Vuolo, 28, announced just last month that they were officially courting. At the time, TLC released a video of the two talking about their relationship.
"As opposed to a more casual dating relationship, we really want to honor the Lord and be very intentional about how we move forward," Vuolo said in the clip.
Vuolo was raised in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Syracuse University. He signed with the San Antonio Scorpions in the North American Soccer League in 2013, but took some time off to go on a missionary trip in the Philippines.
As previously reported, the future spouses actually met during a missionary trip. "It was there that I really saw his heart and really admired his character," Duggar explained in the TLC video. "After that, he contacted my dad [Jim Bob Duggar] and asked if we could get to know each other."
Duggar is the third of Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's daughters to tie the knot. Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard in June 2014 and the couple are now parents to son Israel, 15 months. Jessa Duggar married boyfriend Ben Seewald in 2014 and welcomed son Spurgeon, 8 months, in November 2015.
Like her sisters, Jinger has most likely been following her parents' strict dating rules with Vuolo. In the Duggar household, there is no hand holding or kissing before marriage. Additionally, a chaperone is needed on dates and you can only give side-hugs to say hello and goodbye.
Counting On returns to TLC on August 23, at 8 p.m. ET.

I know her name is supposed to be pronounced like "Ginger" but I read it as sounding like "finger" with a J.
Which is funny because fingering and smoking a J are NOT ALLOWED.
