My hair is straight-- I had ONE perm when I was 13 and ever since then my hair gets a little wave to it and a little frizz if it dries naturally or whatever. My hair is not good in humidity. I love it when it's stick straight-- after it's blown out really good and I use a flat iron to make it sleek.

I have thought that Japanese straigtening wasn't for me-- but I would LOVE to not really have to blow my hair sometimes-- or, I can just spend the same 10 mins, and have it be super straight and sleek. I feel like if I did the straigtening- my hair would be super flat and look really limp. I have a ton of hair-- but it's actually on the thin side.

Anyone know the "side effects" of the straightening?
