January Mommies! What are you up to?

I'm 33.5 weeks. I'm having my c-section on 01-11-10 (I love that date! ) at 9:30am, 6 weeks from today!

My shower was 2 weeks ago and here is what I have done:

Nursery 95% done (I just need blinds & curtains)
Playyard is set up
Swing is set up
Clothes/diapers/toys/changing table all ready
Christmas shopping done
Wrapping presents done
C-section class/maternity tour on 12/7/09
Registered with Viacord

Things I need to do:

Set up cradle with bedding
Wash and & set up crib bedding
Hospital Bag
Christmas Cookies
Make Ipod soundtrack for hospital
Buy mobile for crib
Buy boppy

I think thats it. What are you ladies up to??

i am sooooo behind... i am due jan 25th but i did deliver ds 3 1/2 weeks early and my ob thinks the same will happen with this preg since they are so close together


i did finally go shopping and get the things i needed except the monitor and stroller..... BUT i have not cleaned out the room ds is going in so that i can get him out of the nursery.. that is on my to do list for tomorrow...

i feel so unprepared this time around

WOW! I can't believe how much you've done!

We just did the baby's closet organizer this past weekend and picked a color for the nursery, but we still need to paint, get the carpets cleaned, schedule the furniture for delivery and get it put together, wash all her clothes, set everything up. Not to mention I haven't even started to think about Christmas yet!

I'm so jealous how much you've got done!!

Oh my 33 weeks this week..No time to waste...Nursery is getting painted this week!!Furniture is being delivered next Tuesday the 8th..
My shower hasn't happened yet sooo...It's a Surprise and I really have no clue..I am really trying not to STRESS if that is at all possible..I know things will all fall into place...I hope!!

As far as Christmas..Tree is up...and all other decor inside..DH is doing outside lights this weekend..

I'm a January Mom (1-6), but my little guy is trying to break free. I've been on bedrest for the last two weeks, taking Terbutaline every six hours to stop my contractions (which have not completely stopped even on the meds). In the hosptial twice in the last two weeks and I have a ton to do, but can't do it !

Nursery - is painted and crib is up, but my dresser, changer, and glider have not come in yet.

Playyard is in the basement

Clothes are still not washed because I have no dresser.

Christmas shopping is almost done (thank goodness for online shopping)

Hosptial bag is done and so is Healthcare Proxy

Still have to get the carseat and a breast pump. I was hoping for some Cyber Monday deals.

I'm 32 weeks, due 1/26 and this past weekend we just emptied out the baby's room & the furniture is coming on Thursday. My shower is in 2 weeks and then that weekend we'll also buy whatever else we need for
Christmas weekend, I plan on washing all of his clothes & packing my hospital bag.

My last day of work is 1/15 and I can't wait.

I think I should stop reading these replies... due 1/15 and still have A LOT to do. I'm trying to make myself feel better by reminding myself that all I need in the very beginning is the bassinet (got it, needs to be set up) and bottles, which I also have so somehow it'll all be fine...

My shower was the weekend before Thanksgiving - buying some more necessities this weekend and dropping off a bunch of clothes, sheets, etc with MIL this weekend to wash - she really wants to wash the clothes for me so I'm taking advantage of the help. Started writing thank you cards this weekend so at least I feel good about that. I just wish work wasn't so busy these days - it certainly doesn't help my stress levels and never-ending to do lists, but what can you do. Somehow, it'll all get done!

Hello all

We have the nursery painted, dresser and crib are in, curtains are ordered, glider/recliner is ordered and due in this week... nursery accessories are being purchased slowly (3 poster prints and a few wall shelves ordered).

Still need to do:

Order a bookcase, hang curtain rods, buy monitor and infant car seat, put together bassinet, register for hospital tour and a few classes, call pediatricians, turn in FMLA paperwork, hire a leave replacement for myself (I love my school...lol)...

I'm going to stop b/c it's making me anxious!

Atleast my house looks filled with Christmas and my shopping has a good start.

OK - If I didn't want to vomit before reading this, I do now! Due 1/28 - nursery is still are junk room (we moved into the house end of Aug) and I keep pestering DH to get moving! We are going to get carpet tomorrow and we really need to get moving on the painting and stuff. Furniture has been bought but is being held at BBB and will prob only have it delivered at very end. I need to show DH this thread!!!

Carissa you are good!!!! I am done too...just need to wash the clothes and set up the bassinet. Oh, and I have some Christmas shopping left to do...but Im feeling pretty good about all we got done this past weekend! We are ready for this baby any time!

I am sooo behind too! I'm 33 weeks- due 1/17, and haven't done a darn thing in the nursery
My shower was 3 weeks ago, and I have all the furniture now, but we have to rearrange the bedrooms in our house and paint the nursery before we can bring in and set up the furniture. So right now, it's all sitting at my mom's house! It's just so hard bc my husband and I have pretty opposite work schedules so we are rarely free together for any chunk of time to get anything done!
Physically though, I am feeling great- so I'm happy about that!!

We'll be 33wks tomorrow! I still can't believe that today we can all say our babies are coming NEXT MONTH

We're pretty much all set except for a few small things......still need to hang a shelf for books, hang stuffed animal hammock, wash bedding and clothing, install carseat base, and attend brastfeeding class on 12/8 and power birthing class on 12/10 and 12/11.

The tree went up on Sunday and we're all decorated for the holidays. Joe's Christmas gifts are 100% done, but we'll finish family on 12/12. It was important to me that if Peanut came early that Joe, at least, would have a Christmas and his b-day is Thursday so that's done too. I'll start wrapping this weekend and have it finished by the middle of December.

Mom's coming over in 2wks to help me make cookies and fudge for the holidays since I missed it last year.

Other then the above we just started pulling things out of storage for the hospital bag!




Have any of you started leaking yet? I'm like a dang fountain I swear my belly is HUGE and it's getting much harder to find comfy clothes! Does the baby have a favorite food? Peanut's is Shrimp Cocktail with SPICY sauce. Man that is a HAPPPPPPPPPPPPPY baby when I eat it

WOW! You're practically done!!
I'm 33 weeks today... I feel like I've got soooo much left to do - but luckily, I have DH and my mom to help out, since I'm on bed rest... so, thus far...

We've:
finished the clothes, just need to put 'em away.
set up the changing table
put together the stroller/pack n play/bassinet/high chair/glider
completed 90% of the nursery - need to p/u the crib today... and put it together.
registered for lamaze classes (starting tomorrow)

Things I (we) need to do:
Wash crib bedding
Hospital Bag (1/2 way done)
Christmas Cookies
Buy Boppy
Set up swing
Get Christmas shopping done
Wrap presents

Wow, I feel kind of behind. But I'm not going to stress. Furniture is ordered and due around baby's due date, but I'll be using the bassinet at first. Curtains came in and crib skirt. Nursery is painted. Rocking chair is from my mom, getting it repainted this month hopefully.

Holiday shopping is almost done, so that's good - that always stresses me out.

Still need to decide on names too.

good for you!!! i'm due 1/3

we have the following done:
nursery 95% done (need to put 2 shelves up & fix the closet)
washed all the newborn and 0-3 clothes
washed all the bibs, blankets and bassinet set
hospital bag

i still have to:
install the car seat
set up the bouncer and swing
wash all the towels
wash the bedding/valance (once it's delivered tomorrow)

I'm 33 weeks 2 days today! I was just commenting to my DH that this is the last month as our family consisting of just him and me!

Had a doctor's appt. last week and had to get a growth sono (b/c of the size of my belly!) The little guy is measuring a week ahead at 4lbs 5 ounces! Due date is "supposed" to be 1/17 but who knows.....

As far as things done:

-Nursery basically done
-Clothes/blankets are washed and put away
-Appt. made for Baby Care Class, Hospital Tour, and 3 pediatrician consultations

Things I need to do:

-Organize the changing table area
-Pack Hospital Bag
-Install infant seat
-Few more things to wash
-Christmas shop
-Christmas decorate

I know I have to be missing some things to do but it will all get done..... eventually :)

I am just getting so excited and a little anxious too!
