Jacob had his one year Checkup...

It went rather well, athough I am fooling only myself since I know the worst is yet to come when i have to take him to have his blood drawn for the lead levels.. My Ped's office doesnt do it there so i hafta bring him to a lab.
Please be with me Lord, for that one....

He did get his flu shot today, ( i know late...) and his PPD. My ped is holding off on the MMR shot since he said they can have a reaction 5-15 days after the shot and that could quite possible ruin xmas and his bday next week so he said to come back in Jan. But the 2 shots he did get he cried for 2 seconds.

But other than that, he is 20 lbs, 30 1/2 inches and growing just right! The ped also did mention how well endowed he is. I said I know he is hung like a 5 yr old!! Takes after good ol DH..

Well that is it for now, I will post pics of my very adorable, yet cranky, baby next week on his bday.... sit tight...

I just got back from my DS's one year checkup. They did the blood work in the office. I wanted to cry more than DS. They couldn't find a vein and had to poke him a couple of times. Maybe we would have been better off at a lab. He is the same height as your son (though my little chubby guy is 22 pounds). Have fun on his birthday!
